Apex spring

i don't know for second gen but for the first gen they are excellent spring. I use them in combo with kyb gr2 strut and it definitaly a good set-up. i have heard excellent report from second gen guy about the h&r coil spring

um...
i have the apex springs on my 2nd gen...
i love them, they lower the car 1.7
they ride very comfortably, but handle great
i love them, but high performance rims and tires really complement them...
the only complaint i have about them is that the rear seemed to lower more than the front...

I'm really considering buying the suspension 'cause someone made an offer to me that I can't resist and if I don't like the ride or find it too low. I'll just sell it forward. Another thing is that I have to be careful 'cause here in Puerto Rico the roads are like $#!T and I don't wanna brake my bumper or anything. The other thing that I'm also worried about is that I won't be able to carry many people, will I? If I buy them and like them I'll keep the old springs of course just in case. Thanx for the input.
You don't happen to have any closer pics do you? If so, please send them to my e-mail or send me the link.

i do have closer pics, but my scanner isnt working, i will have it working soon hopefully...
for sure it is not too low...
you do not have to worry about that
i carry 4-5 people in my car all the time and i run over train tracks and everything and im fine...
the only thing you have to worry about is if you try to go up a sidewalk too fast, and straight forward, you will scrape the cross bar that holds your radiator...
but if you go up one wheel at a time, u will be fine
same with the back, if you have big muffler like i do, u gotta go down driveways one wheel at a time, if not, then ur gonna be fine
oh, and obviously the really steep sidewalks u gotta look out for if u have lots of weight in the car because the bottom of the car will lightly scrape if you up those....
but ive only scraped my car about 4-5 times in the year that i had the car lowered
and that was because i wanted to see what i can go up, from what i cant...
and i could go up everything in hamilton...
on the really bad ones i got slow and let some people out of the car
but trust me, if ur getting a deal on them, u wont be dissapointed
the car handles great, and doesent even ride like its been lowered that much
and im using stock struts, and the springs dont seem to even overpower them...
im currently thinking of going coilovers, but im not sure
and again, the only complain is that the back seemed to get about half an inch lower than the front....
but other than that, i love these springs

happy happy joy joy
I'm soo happy! No more spring compressors. I bought the Apex springs today and already installed them. I have to drive it a little more but the 3 minute spin I took felt nice. Not riding a bucking bronco but not to soft. Just right. I have KYBs also so I think that helps a lot. I love it. I got the distance I wanted in the front wheel well and the back stayed basically the same. I'll try to take pictures soon but since I don't have a digi cam it'll take a while. JOY JOY! II'm gonna drive them a little so they stretch and get comfortable in there new crib and then I'll get the car aligned.

I put my apex springs last summer with a set of KYB sport strut and I agree with you guys it's a pretty good setup, even for city driving. (I live in quebec, canada where the roads are very bumpy)
cheers
