creaking brakes

When brakes are engaged, there is a slight "creaking sound" from the right front side. Any ideas?

I figure you are going through a winter season , so you may have salt or dirt built up in them ,, if not then check the brakes make sure they are not worn down ....

Do they creak at high or low speeds? If they're creaking at low speeds, Bruce95fmla is probably right or you just have a bit of rust that has developed while sitting overnite, or such.
