is it true I can use honda coilovers for my pro?

I was talking to a guy at corksport today and he said that pretty much all of the sleeve coilover kits today are very similiar. He said more than likely I could use a honda kit as long as I made sure that the sleeve fit on the strut shaft closely. He also said all coilover kits come with o-rings so it doesn't have to be perfect. Anyone know anything about this?
