Rim and Tire Upgrade? (Auto Cross)
I am currently looking around for a new set of rims and tires for my 2004 3 to replace my factory iron rims, does anyone know what size and width will the car take off the top of their head? And if so, have you changed the set up on your car and what would you recommend for and autocross set up?

iron rims? whoa!....maybe you meant steelies?
If you're looking for a suto-x rim I'd like for a sub-14lb 15-16" wheel with 50-series or better rubber from a DECENT manufacturer...no nankangs or hankooks.
personally, most steelies are lighter than most aftermarket alloys or "sport rims".
The 3rd gen RX7's have a 16" wheel (oem) that is pretty light and pretty wide. Try to find a set of them.

Also, there are no need to go so wide on these cars (16x8).
