Im new to this club, I do have a mazda protege5 I love it, have had it for about a year now. When I got it, it was used. It all ready had a aem cold airintake on it, and a mazda speed exaust system. Im trying to figure out what else I can do to modify it. I put in one hell of a system..

Sounds System
I'm getting Eibach Pro Kit springs for mine, it lowers 1.4 and 1.2, can't remember which end goes lower. It's about 250 USD if I remember correctly. Other than that I started dressing up the engine compartment with 3A racing silicone hoses for the vacuum hoses. and new split loom around some of the wires. I'm looking at putting a system in mine, mind taking a good picture of what you have. I'm still trying to get ideas on what to do. Thanks.

I agree with most of this stuff, but you really have to have a goal. As far as the limited slip though, the Mazdaspeed is a waste. If you are going to go that extreme into the tranny, the Quaife is the only way to go. Without a turbo, you will never put out HUGE power, so go with suspension and brake mods. The car will be sooooo much more fun to drive.
My suggestion:
1. Intake, header, high flow cat, exhaust
2. Suspension
3. Short shifter, flywheel, motor mounts, etc.
This is a good starting point, but like I said, you have to have a goal. You can elaborate on #1 w/ cams & gears, throttle body work, intake manifold work, port matching, etc.
Good luck, and most importantly, have fun with it.
