I got APC Euro wipers...

I got the Euro Wipers by APC and I think they look good, and they work fine. I guess wiper blades won't require rocket scientists to build, but I like how it looks. Even comes with 3 different color wiperblade refills (red, blue and yellow). I changed it to black immediately... too showy with either of the 3 colors.

There are other headers available. I don't think any nearly that cheap though. Someone is making a racing variant that eliminates the primary cat. I think ARDMP5 had them, might PM him and ask, or do a search (I don't feel like looking it up right now, just remembered there are others available). I know you can get the Mazdaspeed one. But it was like 700 bucks.

I'm just guessing that is what you meant. If not, apologies for the rambling.

Its 700 bucks plus you gotta modify it. I'm just saying its like 200 bucks (which probably means it sux), but it more than likely can't hurt your car. Come to think of it if its a 4-1 it probably wont do anything better for your car (airflow wise). Its probably just for show too.

Curious why he thinks a 4-2-1 header is better for airflow than a 4-1 header? Actually, so am I.

Lots of Headers are 4-1. What's more important is the length of each header tube (for the sake of exhaust exit timing).

Usually short headers don't make much (if any) power anyway. Definitely not worth the pain in the *** factor unless you're building a show car.

Racing Beat attempted to design a header for the MP3. Here's an excerpt regarding the header:

"A prototype header was also produced for the Protege. The Protege is equipped with a catalytic converter located directly under the stock exhaust manifold, which makes the production of a conventional design header rather difficult. In an attempt to discover if the 2.0 engine responded to a "conventional" header design, a rather unorthodox looking header was fabricated to test this premise. In order to extend the header primary tubing to the desired length, the primary tubing on the prototype header was wrapped around the upper radiator hose, then routed down to the catalytic converter. This design stood little chance of making it to production, but subsequent testing confirmed our beliefs that the catalytic converter was a "power-robbing" source. This header was not included on the prototype delivered to Mazda."

Has anyone looked under the hood of the Mazda6 i? The 2.3L is mounted with the exhuast side facing the rear of the car. If I remember correctly, it has a nice 4-2-1 header which exits to two exhaust pipes. It may have been a 4-1 header... I'm going to the official unveiling tonight. I'll take another look.

hasnt anyone thought of using a bosal/brospeed header from the 2gen 93-97 probe/mx6/626... im guessing there will be some modifications needed as it was made for antoher car.. but i dont see why it wouldnt work.. well you one thing for sure you will have to get rid of the first cat.. and mount the o2 sensor farther down the exhaust..
