APC Headers Question

I am looking into getting headers for my 01 protege. APC has headers but it doesnt classify which engine. Can anyone help on letting me know does it fit my 1.6L or is it just the 2.0?

Well, all I know is that they have one for the 1.6L. Have you tried calling or e-mailing them?

So they have one for both.

What?...did they forget about the 1.8L?

not 100 percent sure, but i heard that the APC headers dont have the input for the O2 sensor on it, so you would have to make it yourself. NOT 100 percent sure on it, but i think thats what i heard earlier. If im wrong then i'll probably break down and get one, even though its APC (CrAP)

you will have to drill holes and make custom O2 mounts, you will have to relocate both 02 sensors. you can use the second cat to keep from having to buy another one. but you bolt on the header, make the custon O2 mount, then bolt/weld on a cat, then make another custom O2 mount, then weld the cat to the rest of the exhaust.

You could drop the primary cat altogther like Phantom Cruiser did and just mount the o2 sensor after the second cat (or somehow incorporate the primary cat in place of the secondary), though I don't think it would be U-LEV compliant anymore
