I got a price for the heck of it at my speed shop the other day and the retail on those headers is $888.88 US Dollar so I dont' forsee them selling many of them unless the price is changed dramtically.

Dang, meaning I would be selling it for around 700.00. Thats expensive!! I talked to them about a month ago & they didnt act like those would be available for a while. I wonder if they are actually out or just talking about it.

if no one else knows about the headers, maybe they haven't released pricing yet, and the $888.88 is your shop's way of showing that there isn't a price yet.

Gotcha! I knew something was up with that price...but still it would just be a shorty header to utilize the stock catalist unless they make it a race header. I've also heard rumors of a header from HP Racing to come out...oh yeah I checked AWR's website and the 1000+ buck header that mazdamotorsports has is listed on their site for 600 something and they also have a mild steel version in the 300's just info for you guys I won't be getting either one turbo goes on very very soon within 3 weeks

AWR has SS or mild steel headers for 3 rd gen Protege.
it scraps catalytic converter. Price is more manageable than MS-499 for SS and 375 for mild steel.
