B&M Shifter Question??????

Edwin, congrats on the shifter. I've had mine for over a year and I still love it. I'm confused though, the B&M shifter should entirely replace the stock nylon bushings since it comes with it's own billet aluminum housing. Also, the shift rod itself is steel.

Eric, the bushings you reuse from the stock shifter are the little ones that go on the bottom of the shifter...the ones that the bolt goes through holding the linkage to the bottom of the shifter...NOT the ones that go on either side of the pivot ball of the shifter itself...

OK, got it, but those aren't the bushings Corksport is selling are they? What difference does those really make in the feel of the shifter?
