CAI, Short Stack, Short Ram, Normal Intakes
When it comes to air intake I'm really confused because I am new to this tuner jargon. I was wondering what each specific type of intake functions differently and which would be best for the most hp boost. I also want to find out which is the most quiet. Im thinking of getting an "intake" for my P5 but I don't want it to be overly growly and loud yet want to boost hp and allow more freereving of the engine. Thanks

If you want quite then I would take apart your Stock intake up to the MAF and either install a cone filter or Take apart your Stock intake right at the Air filter box and run a custom pipe of sorts down towards the fender well. Either of these would be good for what you want I would think. Niether intake will add a whole lot of HP, but it will be better than stock. I know this won't help much without Pictures but maybe a kind patron will help a brotha out

this won't give you much....but it certainly helps....the key here is you said you want to keep it quiet....keep the stock air intake box...but go to a shop that sells K&N filters...they make one that drops right in and replaces the stock...it will flow a LOT freer than a paper filter. not to mention...if taken care of properly....it will last you for years and years and years.

Ah!! Very good grasshopper! That is a great idea, there have been proven results of this too. I think someone got like 3 or 4 HP out of a K&N Stock replacment filter. Go for that and maybe the hose to the fender and you will be all set-up
