Custom Cat-back Exhaust Performance

I was wondering if I made a custom cat-back to copy the Racing Beat's catback (i.e. the bends and piping are exactly equal to the length and diameter of Racing Beat's), will I be able to expect the aprox 5 hp improvement as proven on Racing Beat's dyno? Is there any other trick to tuning a catback exhaust except chosing the proper diameter and piping of the bends and pipes?

Thanks!~

in theory it should work. where are you getting this info abou the measurements of the pipes and bends? I am thinking of going custom also.

Yep, I got my new 2.25 custom cat-back done today. I'm so happy, I've been driving all day listening to that beautiful sound. Ahhh.
Anyways, I felt more of a difference in high speed accel. like from 40mph-60mph. Not much of a change in 0-60 though.

Just get a custom setup bent for you and you should see around the same gains maybe more depending on the muffler resonator all that stuff. I go straight from teh cat to a muffler with no resonator and i only have one cat to say the least its loud.
