Engine, and exhaust Mods. Do they effect gas mileage.

Has anyone notice better or worse gas mileage when putting in the Racing beat exhaust system and new intake.

Just wondering, I don't want to effect my gas mileage in a negative sense.

I havent noticed much decease in the gas mileage, if you drive it hard to get all the fun out of an exhaust, naturally it will decrease the mileage.

More horsepower means the engine is running more efficiently=better mileage. But yes, the sound makes you want to "hear" the motor more often... Really, the effect on MPG is negligible one way or the other.
