get the short shifter instead.....

I actually think that cars with exhausts look kinda stupid....

The exhaust on the MP3 looks nice though, woulnd't mind getting that one (Racing Beat)

Is it worth it? It depends on your tastes and if you're persuing performance, sound, or looks.

Performance wise, without any other "complementary" mods. . . . No. Although I'm not into the 4" tips and fart cans, I think my car would look a little better with a slightly larger tip and a muffler with a nice finish.

I'm happy with the stock sound though. I have a Borla on my other car. I like the sound, but sometimes it's refreshing to drive in a car with stock exhaust. Especially with the amount of driving we do and the long road trips. 37,000 miles on the P5 and haven't owned it a whole year yet.

If anything get bigger exhaust piping, thats where the performance is at. Just the muffler will do nothing but give you sound. Cat-Back systems are a waste of money also, just buy the muffler you want and get the piping done its hell of a lot cheaper and shows the same gains if not better, depending on if you get the piping all the way to your header (removing Cat). One thing about the short shifter is the fact that they break easily, and take a bit to get use to. Depending on if you are going for performance or what, you might want to go with the short shifter. I would go for exhaust, then intake, then headers. or Visa Versa, seeing that the more air you get in and the quicker you get it out the better. I don't see the short shifter helping you doing that

as you can see in my mods box i already got an intake. seeing how the p5 dont got much power, i need all i can scroung up every little bit can help. im just gonna say screw it and get both. any suggestions on piping? on my las na car i went with 2.5" cat back but then i wound up juicing it (added a 75 shot zex kit). ill probably be doing the same to this car but ill stick with a sneaky pete kit and a begi turbo. same size or what?

2.5" is what I have on my accord. It does make a difference with the cat on, but an even more difference with the cat off. If you pull the cat off try to get a free flowing silenced muffler of some sort. Because these cars get annoying with the cat off.
