Exhaust size??/

I am planning to incrrease the overall size of my factory exhaust system. I need pointers on what sort of manifold configuration to use for top end power, 4-1 or 4-2-1. Secondly I would like to know to what extend shall I increase the pipe diameter. I am tired of Mitsubishi Lancer 1.6 leaving me on the Highway. I need power to fight back! Any other modifications on how I can increase top end power is much appreciated.

I have no reply other than use your dukie....better yet sell the bike and car and go for a 998SBostrom, then eat every vehicle on the road, including lancers or EVO's. For headers, do a search, there are a few companies producting them for the protege, not sure about 99's though.

The bostrom edition is butt ugly! No offence intended on Bostrom but his Duke edition is butt ugly

true, especially since I am Canadian it doesn't appeal to me too much. The Bayliss one is nicer but I think they only made the one, didn't they?
