Flywheel ?

I was wondering if all the 3rd gen protege shared the same flywheel. I bought an indiglo flywheel for a guy on ebay, and he said that it would fit all 99 and up proteges except MSP. I just want to get some info before i ripe out my tranny and find out it doesnt fit. Oh yeah my car is a 00 protege 1.6L . And info would help (flywheel size, bolt pattern, measurements).

My guess is the only way to find out is to pull apart the tranny and actually look at the bolt pattern otherwise im clueless. Unless you can find someone who has done this before.

I'm running a Miata 1.6L light flywheel manufactured by ASSCO Motorsports in my 99 1.6L MTX bought and specd by the guy at HeelToe Automotive: http://www.heeltoeauto.com/main.shtml

OEM 14lbs vs. ASSCO Aluminum 6lbs Flywheel

Tons more pic here

you bought this indigo flywheel for a 1.6L protege? Did the seller clarify it wasn't for the 2.0L??

If for reason you get stuck with a 2.0L flywheel I may take it off your hands. I just bought a spec stage 3 clutch and would really like a new flywheel to go with it.

Hey roddimus
I just verified on indigospeed.com that it is for a 2.0L
The seller posted incorrect information, misleading me to thinking that it would fit. So ended up buying it and couldnt return it. Please PM me or email me at prelude_sh_racer@hotmail.com so that we can work out a deal.

just pm me with your auction details. Due to his innaccuracy in listing you should qualify for a full refund due to Ebay's fraud rules. I would love to have the flywheel depending on price. Pm me some info and we'll go from there!
