Well the new tranny is working out great. At least I know I wasn't the only one with the problem. I also had a thrashed front motor mount that I repaired while the tranny was out. I've known it was thrashed since I replaced my clutch about 7K ago, but never took the time to repair it. If I had known it was going to contribute to my tranny problem, I'd have done it sooner. I had some serious wheel hop before I repaired it. Now it's non-existant. I don't know if that's because I slip the clutch more during rapid takeoff or because of the new motor mount. The mount I made is pretty sweet. Solid rubber with a metal piece to prevent too much movement, but it vibrates a little harder at idle now. I'll post pictures if you want to see.

So you made your own motor mount- cool. I wouldn't mind seeing pics of it. I'm planning on beefing up my motormounts in the winter. The new SCCA rules for Street Touring that allow the mounts don't go into effect until next year
