Indeed it is for real. They come from an actual Mazda dealer and compared to the $265 my dealer quoted me...they are a steal!http://members.ebay.com/ebaymotors/a...azdaofwooster/[/URL]

$200
For $200 you might as well get the HKS Axle Back Exhaust from FC3S BOY, sorry if the name is wrong. He's selling them for $225 not including shipping. Personally, I think it looks better than the Mazdaspeed Exhaust! It also has a deep hummmm.... Go to my site and check it out... but if it's down as it always is then keep trying i guess. Hopefully the video clip of it will be working on my site!

MazdaSpeed Exhaust and turbo
I was wondering, I want to change my exhaust to a 3" one from either 5zigen, HKS, Apexi, or some other one, but my question is this: Will this hurt the performance of the car? The other question is; How do you change the turbo Pressure with out changing the turbo itself?
Is anyone from Sacramento area that has a protege that would like to join a car club or is there any out there that I could join?

just from what I have heard it can be detrimental to performance if your exhaust tubing is too large for your application, Idealy you want the same size tubing from the intake through the manifold and out the exhaust to reduce friction as much as possible, there will always be added friction when going from a smaller tube to larger to the other way around.
I was looking at the Ractive, mazdaspeed, racing beat cat backs as I could find them all for 200-220 on the net. The mazdaspeed system ghas the smallest diameter tubing at around 2.25 i think, the racing beat is around 2.75, ractive is 3in and I am not sure if HKS has different sized applications.
Now for the advrtisement above for the axle back HKS system 2 questions, how is the sound compared to the other systems mentioned above (i want lower not as loud) and since it is axle back what exactly is missing from cat back, just the downpipe?
oh yah also what is the tubing size.

The Racing Beat is a great exhaust and that's a great price, but if you drive a P5, the tip's gonna stick out a few inches. The sedan has a little bit more rear-overhang than the P5.
