has anyone perform a TB bypass?
I read about at a Honda site. They claim 1-2 whp.
There's a coolant line going intop the TB and another coming out. The way to do it is to disconnect both hoses from the TB and connect them to using some tyoe of connector. I do not know if it really work, but I do not think it would hurt to try. 1-2 whp sounds good to me for a free mod! The only reason for the coolant to go thru the TB is to keep it hot in very cold weather so the TB plate will not stick, that's what I read.

Bypass
I think it would be worth the couple of dollars for the brass fittings you can get at any hardware store. They are pneumatic fittings and are cheap. Maybe along with some phenolics, you might realize a noticeable gain. Give it a shot!

i'll buy that for a dollar! ...I think its worth a shot...if every body says 3-5 hp increase can be felt on the butt dyno, i.e. CAI...why not 1-2...I live in Fla...no reason for my TB to stay hot

This sounds like a job for a thermostatically controlled valve. Coolant is bypassed when the outside air is above freezing, and routed through the TB when it is below?
I suppose you could have a manual valve that you open for the winter and shut for the summer too.

did you also know that using a synthetic thinner oil like 5w30 instead of regular 10w30 is worth another 1 whp? and also using synthetic tranny fluid is worth another 1 whp? and lowering your radiator temperature is another 1 whp and replacing your spark plugs another 1 whp? so how many whp is that? get the picture?

ok...that was horrible sentence strucure, but im sure you can follow it.
As far as dangers...possibly..i dont know for sure. I live in Florida, so it doesnt matter.
