header on nopi for 1999-2000

nopi also has on their site a header out for the 1999-2000 proteges but im guessing it is for the 1.8 liter... if it can be for the 1.6 is it even worth getting it 1) it being from apc and i have heard only crap about apc and 2) would only just getting the header give me results cause ive been told i wont get any and ill lose backpressure and ive been told that it does help...

Thumbs down NOPI header

Nope. I have a 99 ES (1.8L) and emailed NOPI for somemore info on this header. In the reply they told me that this header was not available and that they have had bad luck getting stuff from APC in general. No word on whether or not the header would ever become available.

Cool Header

I would love to have a good header for my car . I think I will wait till someone like Advanced Imports, DG motorsports, Automotive R & D gets there hands on a good one. Hopefully dynoed and everything!

OBX Racing makes a header for the 1.6 but i don't know how good it is or anything else. It's about $399 i think.

On v8 cars, headers are a great modification and can really wake up an engine.

On a motor like the 1.6 or 1.8, you would probably see extremely minimal gains, and for $400.00, it is not worth it at all.
