ok, looking to get a header soon, have a few questions:
EBAY: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TSUDO...spagenameZWDVW
is this a good header or some cheap rip off?
corksport:
http://corksport.com/store/category/...9p-intake.html
the AUTO EXE header... worth the price? i havent seen a header that much before.
finally, racing mazda:
http://www.racingmazda.com/protege-exhaust.htm

if you want my opinions I'll give it to you.
You get what you pay for.
I bought the OBX header for $200 (similar to the tsudo) It has not cracked or anything but it looks like ***. The welds aren't the best and it's not the best coatings.
Gary (kargoboy) is running a GB on some "Thunder Headers" from taiwan that look REAL quality. They are a 4-1 header made of a lot higher quality stainless than the tsudo or obx. Gary's price is pretty good also.
The AutoEXE and AWR stuff is nice but it is overpriced for what you get. The 4-2-1 design is typically better for performance but no'one with the AWR headrer on a protege has dyno'd any better than a regular obx 4-1.
Just remember you get what you pay for but sometimes people pay too much for too little gain.

Hey, thanks for the plugs, guys.
There's a GB thread here, too, I'm just going to combine everything.
Steuck, the Thunder header is awesome (and I'm not saying just because I'm selling it..macdaddy can vouch for the quality of this piece).
I wanted to dyno tomorrow but it's going to be too cold. Maybe the week after Xmas..
