high compression pistons?

hey i was thinking about a few things the other day, ok i saw those high compression pistons in the for sale forum and i was wondering whats the point of these? will they add any kind of power? i've heard they aren't good for turbo motors which is fine cuz i'm planning on going N/A with this car my plans are:
1.wagner cams
2.wagner header
3.everything exhaust related from wagner
4.cat back(haven't decided what company yet tho)
5.already have an intake
6.lightened flywheel
7.new clutch (any suggestions? i know ACT was good for the 1st gen but i'm not sure about the 3rd gen?)

I also was think about that intake manifold for the jdm fs on corksport, what is that all about? is it basically just our mani without vics or something? or is it actually differn't?

i'm not looking for insane horsepower obviously but i'm looking to get into the 160-180hp range more or less if i can get higher great but if not thats good too

any tips suggestions would be greatly appreaciated
peace
dante

You'll have to raise the octane with the pistons, but you can give it even more cam since it looks like you have the breathing and exhaust to use it. Port and polish that intake.

you'll need a stand-alone...so go ahead and add another 1500 to your budget. i'd like to get a set of 12.1:1 pistons...yet another set of cams, cam gears and a stand-alone...but i don't have the spare funds at the moment.

Arrow Cam gears...

If you are planning on going ALL MOTOR I would suggest to get the cam gears at the same time as the performance cams. In this way you can play with the powerband depending on your red line range.

If the cams are not too aggressive and the compression is not pumped more than 10.5 or 11.0. The OEM ECM will be good. Do get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator cause its going to lean badly once you start hitting the rev limit.

And, get an Oil Catch Can, it helps maintain the purity of the gasoline. I installed one in my car and it does work. There is around a teaspoon of oil after 3 weeks of driving. Remember, the higher the compression the more vacuum you are going to have which is not good for emissions when trying to suck up the gases from the cylinder head.\

With ALL MOTOR making air go in and out is the key, so start looking for ported manifold, header, 2.25 exhaust piping all the way to the muffler. High flow cat... do not go more than 2.25 in the pipin all the car will loose power. Remember, air needs some restriction to create velocity, is like the resistance from a wing to create lift and speed:::: I f there is no resistance no speed is created to lift an airplane. So, do think about it when porting etc.

This is the list:

cam gears
Oil Cach Can
Adjustable fuel pressure regulator
maybe a performance clutch
