Hose tech nightmare! Help!

Well i was replacnig the hoses cuz i got the hose techniques kit and i fucked up and broke two of the rods on two diffent pieces. By rods i mean where the hose plugs in. So now i hear a leak on both of these hoses and i don't know if it's safe to drive my car because i don't know what these hoses are.I'll try to post a pic of which two rods i broke.

I did the hoses on my car a LONG time ago, and still have no problems. I didn't use the HT kit. I heard is was a little crappy, so I just bought some different lengths of automotive Silicone hose, and 15,000 kms later, it's all good! Could you describe better which ones you broke? A pic would be nice, but if you can't, just tell me what piece and I'll let you know the solution. If you're hearing leaks, DON'T DRIVE YOUR CAR!!! It won't nessicarily cause major damage, but you never know. The vacuum system is very sensitive, and damaging it could lead to very costly repairs in the future.

Please help i have work in the morning! Please if anyone can identify these two hoses for me and let me know if my car is drivable with these two hoses comprimised.

Looks like the vacuum hoses to the injector controllers. I wouldn't try dirving the car with that like that. With something as important as the fuel injectors at stake, it's not worth risking. Stop by your dealer and order the new parts.

the two pieces you "broke" are only tubing connectors...and can be purchased at a LOT of places, Auto parts stores, wal-mart, K-mart ....even in a pet store that has alot of aquarium supplies.....use a buddies car or take your parents (if you live at home) and go out and look around before you go all the way to a dealer.

well i ghetto rigged the two hoses for now i don't hear any leaks and my check engine light is not on. I have to wait untill friday to get the parts i'm going to a junkyard to get them. If my check engine light is not one does that mean i'm ok for now? Or is there still a chance of something major going wrong without that light going on first. Also how bad is it to drive this car like it is....the hose coming from the exhaust manifold is crazy glued on and the hose on the right (the fpr i think) is taped so the hose is making contact with this piece. Any suggestions on a better fix until i can have these parts replaced? Any idea on how much these two parts would cost me. Thanks to everyone guiding me through this crisis of mine.

I'd say your car is now OK to drive, but keep it under 3500 RPM, and check the hoses frequently to make sure they aren't coming loose. ANY dirt in the vacuum system could cause some problems down the road... Just keep a close watch, and the driving to a minimum. Good luck!

As for the cost of the two TEE's....getting them from a junk yard is a good idea too...as you can find those things on nearly EVERY CAR in the yard....so they will be easy to get...

as for how much? about a dollar.....
