Question How to locate IAC valve, vacuum hoses?

Hi,
How can I locate the idle air control (IAC) valve and vacuum hoses for an mp5?

Perhaps there's a picture/diagram somewhere? Pardon me as I don't know much about car engines.

I've read through numerous threads regarding the idle speed dropping (and shaking like it's almost stalling) and then returning to normal again. People have advised checking the IAC valve and vacuum hoses but first I need help finding them =).

I just bought my 2k2 from the dealer but maybe they didn't check those out?

Thanks for your help!
An.

I had a problem with my idle a while ago... turned out my carbon canister sucked gas in from the gas tank or somthing. then at idle a valve in the canister opens and was sucking raw gas into my intake manifold. so they ordered a new carbon canister and all was well. hope this helps.
