I have been talking to HP about the header for the 2.0L for a while. Is that the 2L's header or 1.8L? It wasn't supposed to be ready yet. Has anyone called HP or NOPI to see if they have em?? I bet they don't have it yet. Didn't I start a thread about this header like a month ago??

Those prices seem off...

Wouldn't the Polished Stainless Steel Header be MORE expensive than the Ceramic Coated one? I mean, in my past experience with headers (Del Sol and Miata) that's how the pricing went. Also, they just seem way too low. HP Racing...I see their stuff all the time in ads and their stuff looks cheap. Anyone have more info?

I bet this doesn't replace the primary cat. For that price it must only replace the part ABOVE the primary cat.

that seems to make more sense. then it would be like the shorty headers that you see advertised for the focus. and these would be street legal if that is the case.

Yeah so i contacted HP RACING to find out about the Headers, they are making it to replace the First cat...will be available in the month of may...no prices are set on it...NOPI has seemed to jump the gun a little bit on this on....Strangly enough nopi has done this in the past, i ordered an injen CAI off nopi and it took 3 mths to deliver because injen wsan't done producing it...so if you are going ot order off nopi....call the manufacturing company first and make sure it is out.....

yeah, it's described as a 2-piece design so that definitely rules out a shorty-header. Replacing the primary cat will be nice, I just wish I could believe those prices

Wouldn't the ceramic one be more helpful in keeping the engine compartment cooler? Perhaps that's why its more expensive

I havent gone out to look at the setup on my car, but if I remember correctly isnt there an 02 sensor just before AND just after the cat? If so, wont the OBDII computer on our cars freak when the O2 isnt different between the 2 sensors? This is assuming that the header wont include another cat, and at that price I doubt it will...
