Ignition....

A while ago I saw a post on somebody getting a new ignition for their Protege and another person replied to them that it wouldn't work on a Protege because they have different types of ignition systems than other cars. Does anybody happen to know what I am talking about? I don't know what the difference is, but I was wondering what kind of ignition I CAN get that WILL WORK. I was looking at my Summit Racing Sport Compact catalog and with all of the ignitions and ignition accessories I would think that there is something that can be done to a Protege ignition. Can anybody think of anything, and what kind of performance change I may get out of it. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
THANKS
-James

Basically... you are SOL unless someone makes an ignition specially for the Protege.

Good luck!

hmm...

Yeah, I guess you're right. I never really thought about it that much. I just figured it would work better for when I get new spark plugs and injectors, etc. But that makes sense.
THANKS
