which of the two CAI's performs better, which one should i put in my car?

LOL not this again. Honestly, if you haven't already tried, do a search. Everyone has their own opinion on which performs better. I prefer the Ingen, others will tell you its pointless. If each company's proclaimed results are correct, then it is as follows. Each intake performs better than the other at different points in the power arch. For example, in 2nd at 3000rpm, the ingen may outperform the aem, but in 3rd at 4000rpm, the AEM will see greater gains, etc. Ultimately its all up to you.

BTW the AEM is short ram, not cold air.

I've had both of them and I felt no difference. I sold my Injen because it was such a hassle to clean the filter. No wwith the short AEM it 's much simpler.

My vote goes for the Injen! I like the theory behind it better honestly, and it just was more appealing to me. I have it in my mind that it's better than the AEM. All of this is psychological now, don't take my word for it. There is performance gains for both, been there done that as well.

I have the injen intake in mine and i fill a slight diffrence (at high RPM's) plus it sounds really cool and slighty improves MPG...id go for Injen
