intake installation
i am planning on odering intake today and am having trouble deciding whether to go with the AEM short ram or the InJen CAI. i just wanted to hear some opinions from you guys. How much harder is the Injen installation? What are the differences in performance and sound?

Injen requires you to move the coolant resevoir a bit. not hard. Plus you also have to remove the wheel well molding to connect the filter. But flip a coin on which is better. I think the Injen cone is cheap. But I like the looks of the piping over the AEM & to me the cosmetics are more important.

$185 for an AEM? damn talk about getting it Performance shops around here offer the AEM CAI for around $130 if that, which is still rediculous, all you are paying for is the name, and the gains you get is really not worth the money. You can go to a hardware store and buy piping and get rubber hoses to clamp the peices together, the hardware store will also bend the pipes for you (or atleast they will here), custom made intake just as good as AEM but for like $20 Just something to think about, $185 is a bit steap for a peice of piping with a filter on the end that will give you a max of 2-3 hp if that..
