Well yeah I forgot to include running daily on a standalone, but still... Yeah the labor for pistons and crap is a lot more involved but living with the car is simple compared with worrying about oil supply, overboosting, blowing turbo seals, all sorts of crap that can go wrong

Pistons wouldn't be all that bad. Its the electric ****, I am at a loss. When you all talk about stand-alones and **** like that, I have no idea what you are talking about.

a standalone is an ECU which can take over just about everything the car does and can help control/take advantage of many more mods, unlike piggibacks which either do A/F (air/fuel), or A/F and timing. if you buy HC (hich compression) pistons, you'll need a standalone to take advantage of it, otherwise you are kinda wasting your money...

ah peeps....I don't want to go into any more detail but you guys are WAY over-complicating things..
