Just shortened the height of my B&M shifter

Well, I finally did it. I liked the look of the Kartboy shifter, how it sat just a bit lower than the B&M. So I went to my local ACE and picked up a 10mm 1.25 pitched die and extended the threads down about 3/4" on the shifter. Then, I cut about 3/4" off the top. I like the way it sits now. The shift boot sits very nice on the thicker part of the shaft, so I don't need to re-groove it for the e-clip. If anyone's jealous of the Kartboy and you have a B&M, this is the way to go. Best of both worlds... Kartboys height with B&M's nicer bushing setup.
