Mating drive train components

Hey guys me again, I was wondering if anyone has information regarding whether or not a clutch from any other model ie: pressure plate, throw out bearing, disk etc. from any other older model protege would bolt up, part of the down time problem we are experiencing is we are told that only factory components will work. A quick follow up to local parts stores confirmed this, but no one was able to answer the are they interchangeable question. And once again thanks for any input you may have. 2002 protege 2.0 liter 5 sp
