Mazda sport exhaust custom???

??Mazda sport exhaust cat-back possible?
After few searches, I have found out ppl with Mazdaspeed exhaust either they like it or they don't, because it's too loud.
I already placed an order for MS exhaust, now i'm afraid that I might not like it because of loud sounds.
how loud is loud ?
anyway, my question is, is it really impossible to do cat back with Mazdaspeed muffler, or even if you can, is it worth doing it?
i'm confused and lost...~
help me experts...

believe me...its NOT to loud....its a factory supplied exhaust...its NOT going to be too loud.....
as for can you do a cat back with it? sure.....but what you will have to do is later take your car to a muffler shop that mandrel bends tubing and just have them replace the piece of pipe from your cat back to the mazdaspeed axel back you are about to buy....

I will probably later try to do cat back with it. ppl say things about 2.25 tubing or 2.5 , what is this mean? and
what will be the difference if I make them cat-back? sounds? performance?
sorry about so many questions.
I'm just trying to learn
so, i could help out ppl like me.

by using a mandrel bent tube....the inside of the tubing will be smoother...and flow easier....and with slightly larger size....the exhaust will allow more power to be made....you will get a few horse power out of it.....

I don't want to spend over 200 to this custom job.
BTw, your bosal looks really shinny and nice.

but to just replace the piping from your cats back to the mazdaspeed axel back system you are getting shouldn't cost you more than about $50 or $60 at the most......that would be my guess....
and no, not all shops mandrel bend their piping....but that is definately what you want.
and thank you. :{D the whole system is polished stainless steel.

Just called up authorized Vibrant performance retailer nearby my house, and I asked about mandrel bend tubing sytem with my muffler. they couldn't really give me price of installation, but they quote about $250. Because they told me they have to look at my car first and see how many bend pipes I needs then they can order those parts to do it.
He said only big company actually has the Mandreal Bent Intermidiate Pipe Assembly system, due to high costs of machine.
I'm really confused, i should of bought the catback system at first place.

Well, since this exhaust thread is open, I've got another question for you exhaust experts out there.
I've already bought a generic n1 style muffler, I'm going to go with 2.25" piping. I'm just wondering what the stock piping is, as well as whether I should remove the second cat, resonator or both. I'm aiming at improving performance and sound.
I do NOT want a buzzbomb honda. I'm also willing to pay for a few different combos: removed second cat and resonator, replace with high flow resonator. Or removing resonator and installing highflow one.
Thanks for your suggestions.

leave the cat alone.....for starters....you won't find a REPUTABLE shop that will remove it...as it carries a fine of $10,000 for doing so.
but replace the piping/tubing from the CAT-BACK...and yes leave the resonator out. all of the cat back systems I know do.
2 1/4 from front to back is a very nice size for a normally aspirated engine....and generally is the size aftermarket systems come in.
