I was looking at the options I have for the P5 that I am purchasing. Did anyone get the Sports Exhaust system that Mazda offers? I'm guessing its just the muffler for the price. E-mailed Mazda this morning but got no response yet I was wondering if anyone could help me.

 

I've got the Mazda sport exhaust for 2001 sedan which is all most the same as the P5, it's just a little longer. The exhaust bolted right on and sounds great I've even noticed some power gain, but it comes with a price, in town at low speeds it's fine but on the highway the dam thing is so loud you need ear plugs.

 

how much is the mazdaspeed exaust for PR5's in canadian dollars?

 

My dealer is charging $395CDN before taxes for it... $40 for install, but I'd DIY cuz it's not really something that takes a shop to do... it's next on my list... just waiting for my paycheque!

 

My dealer is asking 375$ cdn for it.

Mine was ordered on may 27, should get it on june 17.
