monster flow air intake
#2
I used to run a Monster Flow, changed to a K&N and I will never stray away from their filters again! The Monsterflow isnt that great of a filter, as it is all foam, and no cotton like the K&N...Anotherwards...it sucks...haha...yeah dont make the mistake I made...I believe its made by Vibrant as well...its not that great of a company for filters and such, they're pretty much a company that makes cheap mods.

I guess Ive just had a bad experience with them , and I believe Vibrant makes these as that last time I was looking through there catalogue at my local shop, I remember seeing Monsterflow in there as well.

I realize this thread has been dead for a while...but I just can't pass up the opportunity to correct the information!
Vibrant Performance has not used foam air filters since the year 2000. Previous to that they were offered as a 'race' filter, intended for use at the track and strip where maximum horsepower gains are needed. At the same time we offered our standard Cotton element filters.
All Vibrant Performance Filters are made with a high-quality cotton element filter. Except for our stainless steel filters, which provide a remarkable filtering capacity with an extremely high flow rate.
Hope that clears up some confusion...
