Talking New Muffler Installed!

Got my muffler installed last night! it sounds so sweet! OMG i wanted to cry when i turned it on for the first time! eheh. THe only complaint i have about it is that it's almost entirely underneath the car. you can barely see it unless you're behind me, like 10 feet back. should i take it to the guy and tell him to put an extention on it?

3.5" outlet. it sounds nice, not like a ricer that you can hear down the street.

I would go back and have it remounted. From the looks of the picture, the exhaust outlet is at almost the same level as the bottom of the bumper cover; if this is the case, the exhaust heat will eventually melt, discolor or burn the plastic cover and ruin it. Go back and have the muffler shop mount it lower and further back.

thanx bro.. i plan to take it in on tuesday (after the holiday). also, i get a lot of vibration inside the car. not sure if this is normal, but it seems to me like the muffler is vibing against the underbody, or something to that extent.

ive also been smelling like burnt something (never smelt it before) after long trips (20 miles), so i think it's already heating up a bit much.
