1) Is your car stock? If not, what have you modified?

2) Does the frequency of the clicking rise and fall in sync with engine rpms?

My car had that sound.

Does it only make the sound if you let go of the gas pedal when you have the AC on?

If so, then it could be your AC compressor (the one with the magnetic clutch).

It may be the purge solenoid valve (the little thingy that mounts on top of the intake next to the throttle body and has 3 rubber vacuum lines attached to it). It normally clicks while it works. It's hard to hear it when it's attached to the stock rubber intake, but a thin-walled aluminum aftermarket intake will amplify the sound. This is a well-documented problem with installing an intake on our cars.

You can try unplugging the electrical connector and checking if this makes the sound go away. However, leaving the connector unplugged will turn on your "Check Engine" light, so it's not a permanent fix. There are 3 options for a permanent solution:
1) Try and dampen the sound by mounting it to the intake with rubber washers.
2) Remount it elsewhere.
3) Ignore it.

Good luck!

i thought it was that also but i tie wrapped it so it doens't touch my intake i'll double check to see if it that.. i doubt it....the thing is it also does it wiht the stock intake.. so.... i'm clueless what it can be..

There are just 2 rubber vacuum lines on it Evap. hose to catch tank and vacuum hose to intake manifold.
