Only two wires?

I need a new set of spark plugs and wires. I'm looking at these wires, but why are there only two wires? I don't get it.

Anything special for spark plugs themselves?
I'm thinking about these (only $9 for 4!!!):

or these ($52!!!):

if you specify a 99 protege, you should get four wires. the 2001+ protege have coil on plug ignition, so only two wires.

only thing special about plugs, is to make sure they will fit. if in doubt call before your order and verify they are for a 99 protege.

yeah clint, those are for your car. the 1.6's use a coil pack system too, the 1.8's don't. my NGK set is only two wires... replacing 1 and 3 boots and wires, since 2 and 4 are the coil packs.
