Performance clutch for 99 LX 1.6?

Hey, y'all! I've got a '99 LX with 75k miles and the clutch is starting to feel a little tired. It's definitely not slipping--I've tried the test where you floor it in 5th--it just seems to hook up really softly/slowly.

If I wind it all the way out in 2nd, I can basically sidestep the clutch and give it full throttle and still get a nice, smooth shift into third, as it takes a little bit (maybe a half or quarter of a second) for the revs to drop. If I did this when the car was newer, that'd result in a pretty big jerk.

Any ideas on how much longer my clutch'll last? And any recommendations for performance clutches?

I was looking around on the ACT website, and noticed that the recommended replacement still uses the factory disc, but has a stouter pressure plate. Any experience with the "racing" clutch kits?

Thanks for your help!
Adam
