I dont own a MP5 but would love to.

On my Protege 5 I get a grind on occasion from a 5th to 4th downshift. Really pisses me off.

I get the "clutch chatter" problem sometimes before my car warms up. You let out the clutch, and the front end hops or chatters until you put the clutch back in and try again. Goes away after 1 or 2 min. of driving. Is this the problem you are mentioning? o-yeah one more thing... GUNS SUCK!!!

Wrong "gun". Thats the little bro to the MP5.

I just had my clutch chatter fixed. Now my tranny is giving me problems:

I think maybe the techs dropped it or something.

Here is an exploded view to see how it goes back together once you fix the bolt problems:

It's got a hell lot more parts to it than the C7 I use... that's the imitation air weapon isn't it?

i'm very concerned about this problem as i may add forced induction in the future and would like to know if the tranny can handle it (evidence is if it can handle its own power)

my tranny already dislikes 5-4 downshifts...have to take it nice and slow

i'd like to know the honest opinoins of other owners and not some discussion on guns b/c some moderator changed the point of the thread to guns...could someone explain why was this done?

Clarification

Ok for the final time I am speaking only of the 3rd generation 2.0L Protege and Protege 5 vehicles. Not in anyway a reference to the sub-machinegun mentioned in the above diagrams. My poll is in reference to the transmission in the manual 5 speed Protege's from the 3rd generation only. Thank you.
