Q: Fuel Tank Location on Sedan

Does anyone know the exact location of our fuel tank?

I consulted the shop manual and did a search but found no info on the location of the fuel tank.

The shop manual suggests somewhere under the rear seat but doesn't illustrate the exact location. I'd like to know because I want to mount my Basslink with self-tapping screws but I'm afraid to puncture anything vital. Any help would be appreciated.

It is mounted about 3-4" below the sheetmetal under the back seat. I have no idea what a Basslink is, but if you have to drill holes, you should be fine unless you use really long drill bits.

That really helps. Thank you both.

BTW, the Infinity Basslink is a self-amplified class-D servo-controlled 10" subwoofer. It has a small footprint, and I'm going to mount it behind the driver's side passenger seat.
