Thumbs up ractive intake extension?

i have the ractive intake...i've noticed that ractive is now offering a new filter with a heat shield and also a cai extension for it's existing short intake.
i want the best for my car so is this worth getting ?

that's the first one i ever seen that pictures. they kind of look corny, but if they bring up better performance, then bring it on.

Sorry but thats like no where near new. I had that exact same thing on my Grand Am like 2 years ago. Sounds pretty good but not too much different in performance than anything else. The part is a Ractive SF-007. Ordered one to try and switch with the Injen filter but havent installed it yet.
