Rear wheel bearings
#2
Yea you can do it, they're not EASY .. but they're not that hard to replace either. I did my own last summer and it wasn't too bad.
You'll need to take off the wheel (duh..), and remove the aluminum cap in the center of the wheel bearing hub. Behind this cap is a HUGE nut that you will need to try and remove using as big of an impact wrench as possible. Once you break it loose it should come out all the way without too much effort, and the hub will just come out. You might need to disconnect your brake lines as well .. I can't remember for sure or not.
Also, search through http://protege5.ugly.net and see if you can find a tutorial with pictures to help ya out.
