Rusted Bolts!
Someone here on the forum had trouble removing the bolts for the Protege 5's muffler. Unfortunately mine are rusted as well. So here's my question for all of you, How do i remove the bolts without losing an arm? Thanks

Ditto the previous post. Also, when you're removing old exhaust system components, IMHO it's always a good idea to have the following items handy...
(1) Liquid Wrench Super Penetrant (I've always liked this stuff better then WD-40, but to each his/her own).
(2) Extra nuts and bolts.
(3) Dremel tool and a fiber-reinforced cutoff wheel.
(4) Metric tap and die set.
(5) Large pry bar.
(6) Chisel.
(7) A Big Freakin' Hammer (aka BFH, aka Chevy Tool #1).
Removing badly rusted parts (and exhaust system ALWAYS rust) sometimes requires a little persuasion.
