Short Shifter

Any companies make a Short Shifter for the Protege? Actually... now that I think about it... didn't the MP3 come with one? If so, that'd bolt right in, no?

shifter

The mp3 has an extender removed to make it appear shorter. The throw however is the same. Do a search and your bound to find some info on how to remove the extension. For a shorter throw b&m makes a short throw shifter. Try protege5online.com.
I know they have it for something like 145$$. Enjoy the info!

Aww shucks. I always thought the MP3 shifts had a shorter throw than the normal Proteges. Because the price for that entire piece from the MP3 vs. B&M is about the same price in Toronto.

Hey Tom, are you going to include the bushings with the short shifter? What kind of pricing?

we will be selling a shifter combo much like we have for the subarus. that retails for 125.00 (most likely we'll have a special intro price for a little while)
the shifter will be sold seperatly and the bushings too. in case a customer only wants one or the other.

i will try and give you a update in the next day as to a more definate ETA on the kits. they are still being turned at the CNC shop as of thursday last week

Keep us updated and give us the introductory price and I'm on it when you have one ready.

Woah that's a good price! Too bad you're in Alberta, not Ontario.

Do you guys have a Mopac out in Ontario somewhere? That's where I got the quote from and I'm sure the price would be the same out there. Oh...except we don't have PST out here... :P

How much do the B&M shifters cost out there in ON?

Pro_fan: would it be possible if you buy the shifter and ship it to us? We don't have Mopac in ON. I ran a search on the yellowpage and it's only in Calgary and Vancouver. Here in Ontario the cheapest I've seen is $360 + tax. I'm sure there are better deals out there but it won't be even close to $209.

Even with shipping it'll be cheaper than getting it from the States...and only one tax too.
