Transmission Swap?

Hey everyone, I've got a series of questions for the group. However, I'm new here so I'll tell you a bit about my cars. I have a restored 1968 Camaro, outfitted with the original 327 (with a mild cam, double-hump heads(off a vette), headers, street avenger carb, etc) and original 3 speed automatic transmission. My daily driver is a 2003 MP5 with the sport-tronic transmission (you can guess where this is going). I love the car, but I've owned it for about half a year now and have decided I really want to make something out of it, and I want more power. If I really want the strong build, I know I'll have to replace the transmission. I was curious if anyone knew how difficult/costly it would be to swap in a 5 spd manual transmission would be?

Thanks in advance.

do a search...honestly the cost and labor is so intensive it's more effective to trade it for a car that's already a 5 speed....
