Traveler Header

Hi,

Does anyone have any contact info on Traveler- the guy who makes the header. I went to his website and tried to email him at his AOL address and it didn't work.

Thanks,

Jason

If you get in touch with traveler post back here or pm me. I'm interested in one of his headers too, maybe it would be easier and cheaper? for him to make two at a time.

Thanks,
James T

Well, so far no news from Traveler. However, I have contacted Wagner Motorsports- they build custom manifolds for turbo cars and such. They are going to build me a prototype "shorty" header which will be a 4-1 design. When I get the header (early September), I plan on doing some dyno runs before and after so they can have some good R&D data for the header.
I'm not sure what to expect for power gains. Having been racing cars all through the big Sport Compact craze, I'm alway sceptical of the power gains advertised by people. So it will be nice to use a real dyno and get some real figures out of it.

You may already know this, but make sure you read through Traveler's header threads. He also did some modifications to the outlet of the first cat and enlarged the down tube. I imagine the header without those mods would show not enough gains to be worthwhile. Somebody else tried a shorty header, I assume without the other mods, and didn't go very far with it. Please keep me informed, I would rather go with a shorty, as eventually I'm going to have emissions and I don't want to have all the work involved with a 4-2-1, and I'm willing to accept slightly less performance.

Thanks,
James T
