try to post my dynos

These dyno charts came from my 03 MSP without the ECU flash. The only modifications done at the time of the dyno were my custom made catless downpipe and a cone filter placed in front of the MAF. This was done with a very lare fan blowing across the front of the car to simulate driving...

first pic is wheel HP&torque. It's down from what I expected, but still very respectable for a car that was about to give up the ghost!

WHP- 158
lb/ft - 159

ENGINE HP - 227hp
ENGINE TORQUE - 197lb/ft

Mazda claimed 170hp on the engine and about 130 to the wheels.I got almost as much power to the wheels as they claim their motor made. Also, this was an unflashed car with less than 3500 miles on it. I've heard rumors about it leaning out after 5K miles.....I dunno. Here's my wideband readings.

ok, crud, my pics not showing up. I've tried loading it to the picture pages also. I'll have to wait until I'm home from work to do this I guess.

some good gains, but mazda never quoted 130 wheel, 170 flywheel and roughly 155 whp.

I can't imagine only a 15hp drop through drivetrain!! Someone with some better knowledge could shed some light on the amount of drivetrain loss for me, but I felt my numbers were pretty spot-on. I also tried uploading the pics and attaching them. It does not work. I am on my work computer and will try this again when I get home.

How did you calculate 227 to the flywheel?

Sorry Rod, but I've seen quite a few peeps with MSPs post 150 - 155 stock hp at the wheels.

My car wasn't stock. I had a catless 2.5" mandrel bent downpipe and a slightly altered intake. I was shocked also, but that was what the dyno popped out for me. Just for refference the dyno operator pulled a 69 Corvette before mine and his 350 made something like 290whp. Seems kinda low to me (for the amount of work he had done to the car). I also watched this guy program in all of the baseline corrections. I don't know why the dyno would read differently.
