URGENT Injen HELP!

I snapped the bottom plastic thing that went into the piece connected to the stock intake. It was supposed to be relocated with an L bracket on top of the throttle body. What is this and how can I get a new one?

Got it installed after a little of my own modding but one question. Every time I push the throttle down, it makes a loud "pfssht" sound. Is this the sucking in of air (normal) or a leak in the system (bad)? Please let me know!

I am not impressed with the performance, but the sound is decent. The exhaust added much more power, although neither adds too much.

Are you sure about that? The intake should have netted you 5-8 while the exhaust only like 2-3...

I have the Racing Beat cat-back. I definitely do notice gains with both intake and exhaust installed. It might just seem a little slower than I think because of the loud noise at higher RPMs, so it sounds fast, but isn't all that fast, if you know what I mean...I am satisfied with the products, however.

It was mentioned that the intake should have netted 5-8, is that WHP? Also, is there anything I might have messed up? I checked for leaks, there are none. Also, all the clamps were torqued down tight and everything is pushed on as far as it will go.

After the install, I reconnected the negative battery terminal and pretty much just drove off. Would not waiting 15 minutes or so to let the ECU "reset" have any adverse affects? Even if it did, wouldn't it change over time? Thanks for replies.

Reset it again (at the inconveneince of having your radio presets gone) and let it idle for about 20 mins this time.

What you did before shouldn't have adverse effects, but better safe than sorry. Be sure you press the brake during reset to drain the caps.

I haven't reset my radio presets yet, so no problem there : ) Also, has anyone experienced the intake rattling against the wheel well at low RPMs? In first it sounds terrible, and in second it isn't so bad. I am gonna make a little pad or something to fit in there if I can't adjust it with the supplied bolts. Thanks for your help!

Nope. Make sure you have everything on tight.
