Vibrant intake !?
Has someone on this forum has this intake ? If so, got any pics ? I saw the pics of the pieces on the site, but I can figure out how it goes and how it would look like assembled !
Thanks

Don't say"because the intake air is cooler" because the increase from that would be next to nothing. Plus, with a CAI you have to worry about hydrolock. The AEM bypass valve takes care of that problem, but any power increase is cancelled out by it.
Also, the short-ram is ...short, so the air doesn't travel as far in the intake tube. Less distance= more power. I'm not saying that the s/r is better, I'm saying that, performance-wise, most aftermarket intakes are pretty much the same. That's why, after a ton of research, I saved myself $150.00 and got the Ebay one.
The Vibrant one looks fine to me.

Thats why Im gonna go with either Ractive or Vibrant. I saw a lot of pics of the one from Ractive, but none from the Vibrant. Thats why I started this thread so if any of you have this intake and have some pics, please post them !!! Also comments of this intake would be grandly appreciated... like the clearance of the master cylinder comparatively to Ractive !

I've heard of one case, that's all. If you're not an idiot, you can void water. An Injen WILL make more power, unless the laws of physics and chemistry ceace to exist under your hood...

Please, explain to me. HOW will the Injen produce more power than a short-ram? Which laws of physics and chemistry are you referring to?

denser air = more "units of air" per given unit of volume
more air = better performance

The gain from a aftermarket intake is so minimal anyway. You wont gain much more than you would with a KN drop in. The only thing you may enjoy is having a big shiney growling dick under your hood. More than likely youll gain about 100 mental HP but thats all. Save your money and go turbo or NX............Duncan
