Where's the best place to buy a header?

I have a friend that has a P5 and is looking to buy a header. Wheres the best place to get one and is the 4-2-1 the better one to get?

And yes I did a search but didn't find the answer to my question

Thanks!

the only 4-2-1 headers I know of made FOR THE PROTEGE are the AWR, Essential Speed and Racing Mazda....all of these are very pricey and some carry a bad rep with them.

Phantom and Tonkabui have been discussing the difference in the ford probe OBX 4-2-1 header. They can explain all of the modifications you'll need to make to make a 4-2-1 header work on a p5...

or you could contact SPD racing (FC3Sboy-Chris) and get a 4-1 for $230shipped.

Thats what Im leaning to, just checking on the long one for a friend.
Does anyone know the pros and cons of the 2 defferant (long or short) headers?

wagners shorty header makes abouot the same hp as the obx but it makes more torque down low where as the obx makes a little less torque but a little more up top.

Exhaust length is the exact opposite of intake manifold length.....so long intake = more torque, long headers = more hp (top end)
