Lightbulb Will The Dis Msd Ignition Work W/mp5?

I VISTED THE MSD WEB PAGE AND THEY HAVE A DISTRIBUTELESS IGNITON SET UP FOR OUR CAR IM THINKING ON GETTING IT, IS IT WORTH IT SINCE IM GETTING DENSO IRRIDIUM SPARK PLUG WITH MAGNICORE 8.5MM WIRES!

This topic has been covered before. You might find it helpful to do a search.

The quick summary... the basic "plug-and-play" MSD DIS-2 ignition system won't work on a BJ Protege because our cars have a "dirty" ignition trigger signal. You will need a stand-alone system capable of reading the crank trigger directly.
